Chester Hockey Club are pleased to announce that 3D Aluminium, which is part of Eynsham Group Ltd, has agreed to sponsor the Club for another season with this years money being used for our Youth Development. Gary McCartan, Group Managing Director of Eynsham Group Ltd, said ‘We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of Chester Hockey Club for another year and have been particularly impressed with the success of their youth development work which we would like to target this year’s sponsorship towards.’
Three Chester players were invited to represent a West Cheshire and Wirral presidents eleven at the opening of the Calday Grange floodlights. Bart Ryan-Beswick, Chris Ormandy and Alex Perratt were selected as a result of the hard work they have been putting in as coaches at the Chester Hockey development Centre and were the stars of the night. The centre runs on a Friday night 4.45 till 5.45 at the County offices sports facilities for U13 boys and girls in the Chester area. It is open hockey players of all abilities and forms part of England Hockey’s single system for hockey. For More information contact Dafydd Jones 07799113953.

Sunday morning youth training starts Sunday 12th September 2010 at the astro turf pitches, Cheshire County Sports Club, Mannings Lane. Please see below for the timings.
Training finishes on Sunday 12th December and restarts on Sunday 9th January 2011.
All training takes place on the astro turf pitches across the dual carriageway from Cheshire County Sports Club on Plas Newton Lane.
Any new or prospective members are welcome to turn up to a training session to get a feel for what the youth academy is all about.
Additional helpers are always required on Sunday mornings (10.00 - 12.45). No coaching experience or qualifications are required, as you will be assisting qualified coaches.
