The British Civil Service Hockey side is, as always, on the look out for new players.

Players must be of regional league standard and work for a Government Department or be a Crown Servant. Royal Mail and BT staff, as well as other former Government Department employees could also be eligible to play. The current side has players from Preston, York, Ben Rhydding and Lytham in its ranks.

The representative side gets paid leave to play 4 games each year. These are against the British Police and 3 Armed Forces sides. The games are very competitive and of a high standard. This year the games are in early Feb and early March.

If you know of anyone in your club that might or can fit the criteria, please urge them to contact me.

Hopefully we can swell our ranks even more, with some new faces.
