Playing a final re-arranged league game, Chester Ladies 3rd X1 fought a strong game with two exceptional goals from Tracy Hunt giving them a 2-2 draw finishing third in the league.

A tough game to put Chester a step closer to promotion ended in disappointment this Saturday with a 3-1 loss. Chester played a strong game with Tracy Hunt scoring a fantastic goal early in the play. Kat Hoey and Fiona Tamblyn Jones both had a very good game. Chester play Bowden, who are top of the league next week, and are still in with a chance of promotion.

Chester were disappointed to come out with no points from this game, with the umpire agreeing on this point at the end of the match. A last minute change saw Liz Crawshaw, Juliette Old and Sian Tomlin joining and strengthening the team, which worked hard during a defensive game for Chester, with impressive performances from Tracy Hunt at the back. Sian Tomlin was Player of the Match.
